1- The Board has established a well organized extension service by deploying:
  
     
 
a)   Assistant Development Officers 19 Nos.
b)   Assistant Director (Development) 1 No
c)   Deputy Director (Development) 1 No.
 
     
2- Strong linkage has been established between extension workers and tobacco growers through the following activities:
 
  a) Regular field days, tobacco workshops, T&V (Training and Visit) programmes are held.
  b) 1500 -2000 Model nurseries/plots are laid out annually on farmers
